Mighty fine looking razor.

I have this and a Merkur 34c HD. Both shave Identical and excellent to me compared to some vintage Gillette's I've tried. This is very well crafted and more GQ looking than the Murkur. Out of personal preference I like HD a little better. I feel I get more control with the shorter handle and the grippier stocky knob of the hd when shaving my face and head.(while still gazing at the EJ) I grip my razor with only 2 fingers most of the time. IMO, this razor makes a fine compromise to someone preferring a slightly longer handle, but not one that's as long as a barber pole.
