Makes My Shave & Skin Smooth

I was getting considerable irritation while shaving with my Merkur 34C, and I tried pressing less hard (pressing hard was a bad habit from using the Gillette Fusion), different blades, different angles, etc.

I was about to abandon DE shaving altogether when I remembered getting shaved by my old barber in DC; he always used a straight edge razor, and I never had a cut, nick, or redness. Before shaving me, he used to use a thick gel first (like Cremo Creme, which I was already using), THEN a put a thin layer of shave cream like the Jagger.

So, I continued with a light layer of the Cremo Creme, then brushed on an even lighter foam of the Jagger Sandalwood, and voila!: not only was the shave smoother (and faster - fewer strokes!), but it seemed to be conditioning my dry skin simultaneously.

No more redness!

I've been using the combination for about 10 weeks now, and it gets better every morning. You guys with dry skin and irritation should try it (along with not pressing the razor into your skin)! The sandalwood is my favorite, but I enjoy the aloe vera, too!
