I really have trouble telling one blade from the next. Mostly I have been using the Red Personas and the Yellow Bics. But after trying a blade (that came w/ a new razor) that was too dull for me, Lee suggested this one. So far I am impressed. I have given this blade a real workout, using it in my Mergress adjustable razor 5 times before changing the blade. I can't think of a better test for a blade than using it in an adjustable razor. I have shaved with 2 day growths, one day growth and each time I adjust the razor between passes. Each time I have gotten a smooth, comfortable shave. What else can I ask for?

I just tried this blade for the first time after coming off of Merkur blades. I have to say that the difference between the two was night and day. The Merkurs were not as sharp and could not shave as close, on top of causing more irritation. These blades, though, are super sharp and seem to glide along the face under very light pressure. No irritation and a very close shave.

I've tried many blades. I shaved with the Feather blades for almost a year. Very close shave, but I eventually developed irritation. I've tried Red Personna, Kai, Polisilver blades as well, and they all have good and bad qualities. I'm looking for a close shave achieved by shaving only with the grain. These Gillette blades are giving me almost as close a shave as the Feather blades did, but with more comfort. I've been using them in a rotation with Kai and Polisilver for about a month, and no irritation up to this point.
I recommend these for people with medium to heavy beards who want a close shave that's comfortable.
