    Recommended by Lee so I tried some and was immediately transported back to my youth in terms of the fragrance and it provided a wonderful cushioning lather. Can't say enough nice things about this product. Pricey but worth it. As to the scent....my take is not Rhubarb which it supposedly contains but rather incense. I told Lee I was an alter boy all over again with this stuff. Great. That is the "spicy" note that one reviewer commented on. Subtle but there. So Italian.

    I was very surprised by my results with this cream. It smells nice (spicy, maybe allspice, clove and cedar?) and it lathers up well. Going on my face, it didn't feel as lubricating as some other creams, so I was expecting a less than perfect shave. But when I was done, I had a clean, smooth shave, and my face felt great. This cream goes in my regular rotation. Got to thank Lee for suggesting this one.

    Hello!

    This italian made shaving cream, under the British company Atkinsons (based in London since 1799), called I Coloniali Rhubarb Shaving Cream, is an outstanding performing product. Produces slick, cushioning and moisturizing lather that is on par, AT LEAST, with other British or Italian products high-end products. Just amazing, really. And the smokey yet fresh (has a little bit of menthol in it) smell is unique. Try the I Coloniali shaving soap (which is named Shaving Cream alhtough it is a soap) as well, can not say anything else than, also this product is amongst the best shaving soaps (and I have been using nearly all available).

    WOW, WOW, WOW. Why are these products so rarely reviewed on the shaving forums?

    That has to be changed and I want to make a beginning.
