      This is one of the best razors out there. And especially good for beginners. I defiantly recommend Merkur for the quality and weight balance.

      I have the standard edition of this one (ie stainless steel not matte) and I got great service from Lee!
      It shaves very well and is a great weighted razor.
      I had read many people say that a slant is an 'aggresive' shave. I haven't found that to be true. It is smooth and allows more scope for getting really close, but in my opinion not in an aggressive way.
