it has a refreshing scent that takes getting used to, but you are used to...it is wonderful. the soap not only cleans the face, getting it ready for the shave, but it also seems to open the pores. whether it does or it doesn't, it feels like it does. if i had rough hairs that were stiff to the touch or irritated, the musgo took it away before the shave. next time i order from Lee, i'm going to try the musgo shave.
