The distinctive green package reminds one of the Italian barbers of bygone times, when shaving was a ritual which men followed faithfully.

I user this w/o a brush most of the time. about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch of cream out of the tube into my hand. The lubricity is amazing, you'll find it hard to rinse all the oil off your hands.
Used it once with Edwin Jagger pre-shave; terrific combo, especially with sensitive skin.

I have yet to get a bad lather with this stuff, whether building it in a bowl, my palm, or on my face. Subtle, clean scent and rich texture. Very comfortable. I use an almond-sized amount and usually get three nice lathers out it.

Mainstream American men do not know what they are missing by not trying Proraso. The moisturizing and cooling sensation makes me actually look forward to my morning shave. Cuts and nicks are substantiabily reduced, as well. So, Proraso, can I get an endorsement deal here?

I shave my head and for the price point this is the best stuff I have found, I have used hard soaps and switched almost entirely to creams, I have been using 2 tubes of Derby to 1 Prorasso but think I will go exclusively with this stuff once the derby runs out.
Nice lather, slick, stays moist, good scent, and nice cooling after rinsing off. no complaints at all!!

My main incentive for buying this was the price. Most creams seem to be a bit expensive, but this is an economical option for a beginner that wants to get started. It lathers up well enough, but not as well as I had heard or been expecting. The scent is not overpowering, and my wife seemed to like it. The eucalyptus is only marginally noticeable as well. If you're looking for something simple and inexpensive, go for this. Otherwise, I think I may try Taylor of Old Bond Street as I hear it is quite nice.

This stuff us great on many fronts. First, its economical. A tube of this will last for months and months.
Its clean and fresh, whips up to a luxurious lather and rinses cool and crisp. While I do like switching it up from time to time with some Trumpers Coconut or Lime, I always find Prosaso to be a warm welcome back. Anyone who shaves should give it a try.

This is the best economical shaving cream out there. The eucalyptus gives you that cool fresh sensation after splashing your face with cold water that finishes off any shave wonderfully. The smell is pleasant and crisp. Its not over powering. All of that on top of a perfect lather that allows your razor to glide across your face with little effort while affording the close shave regardless of the type of razor you are using.
