Finally, a boar brush that I can rave about!!

I already own the Semogue 2000, 1800 and 1305 which I appreciate a lot. I pulled the trigger and bought the 630 for the nice looking handle as I wanted a boar brush to complement my existing Semogue 630 in badger. However, for those who appreciate boar and who have eyes on this brush primarily for the handle please beware this is NOT similar to your Semogue 1305 experience but rather a 1520.
What does this mean? Well, I’ll tell you -- this means it is smaller and scrubbier (without being prickly) than your 1305 boar. For those who prefer (or whose faces require) a slightly scrubbier experience to look good in the morning and all day, then look no further than this model.
Used with your favourite shave soap, this brush will create magnificent lather for your first pass (I usually paint on for the subsequent passes). If I were to offer one piece of advice it would be to NOT skimp on the soap swirling!! Therefore, make sure the brush is abundantly loaded (and reloaded as needed) as you prepare for your first pass. Expect to use up slightly more of your soap to be rewarded with consistently superb shaves.
