This is a top quality heavyweight razor.I have used my 9306 for a little over six months, and it is working flawlessly. The aggressiveness, is medium, and I would compare it to my Gillette Super Speed.
I have many razors from inexpensive Chinese imports to top quality razors costing over $150. This razor compares with razors costing many times more.
Anyone who states this is an entry level razor because it is extremely mild, is making unfounded assumptions. It is a great entry level razor because it is inexpensive, top quality, and a very smooth shaver.

I was really digging this razor that I got for christmas and then a few months later, like the others have said, it fell apart in my hands. But for me, it disintegrated as I was trying to switch out blades. I would only suggest it as a temporary safety razor until you get another one.

I bought this razor a little over a year ago. It was my first DE after years with electrics. Once I got used to it, I was getting a good shave. Then, last week, it fell apart in my hands. The butterfly won't open, the mechanism jams, I can't change blades. It has become just another disposable razor.

I have used this razor for three month then lost the side plate that holds the butterfly ends to the razor down the drain. Cheaply made razor but does work well.

Shaved well, but broke after 2 months of use.

It gets the job done, but does not have the solid feel or tight glide of the Merkur HD

I just received my Weishi yesterday, it's a fine razor, but after 5 days of growth, I like a total clearcut after a single draw of the blade, the Weishi required several strokes to do this. If you like a steep angled blade and serious cutting, go with a Merkur. I switched back to my Merkur after a few strokes and the difference is profound. If you don't want to hack yourself to bits, or this is your first safety razor, or you shave in a hurry (or drunk) - use the Wesihi, it's got a very mild angle and a tiny gap between the blade and the guide - not the chasm of a Merkur. I think this might even be a gentle enough razor to give to my wife.

I have owned a Merkur Progress Adjustable Safety Razor for about 9 years. It is a fine razor, but broke when I dropped it. I purchased another and out of curiosity, I purchased one of these Weishi Chrome Safety Razors as well.
I have a light/medium beard growth. Wow! This little gem gives a very close shave and is comfortable as it glides along my face.
5 stars for the value and shave. Well worth your consideration...

Ye gods does this razor ever perform. It shaves like a dream; I loaded it with a Bic blade and my face was glass smooth all day long, I have several safety razors by merkur and feather but this one has outperformed them all. The only drawback I can think of is that the handle gets a bit slippery when wet and its short length feels a bit awkward
